Ready for my closeup

It sometimes takes more than tinted moisturizer and some eyeliner to get the perfect shot. Sometimes it also takes a photographic genius. My good friend and your new favorite photographer, Rian aka @iconicshot, can get you looking quite amazing. Check out the evolution of my banner photo.
Not a totally terrible photo, but not as perfect and polished as I would wish. The things to watch in this photo, above, are the lapel of my vest, the discoloration of the skin tone, and slight puffiness around the eyes. More >
Gaga fit for a Queen

Recently I was given the opportunity to work with a good friend and fellow San Diego twitterati, @richardallen. He presented me with the task of transforming him from 6′+ gay man to the omnipresent Lady Gaga.
We chose her memorable 2009 VMA performance look. (You know the one where she started under the chandelier and then ended being the bleeding chandelier at the end).
The most important part of the look was intricate mask that she dawns at the top of the performance. Here are a few pictures from my process.
